Order of Saint Lazarus endorses and assists the World Miracle Network (April 2011)
The Grand Prior of the Grand Priory of the United States of America of the Hospitaller Order of Saint Lazarus of Jerusalem is also a hands-on missionary whose example should be seen as a guiding beacon to all Lazarites worldwide.
Bishop Thomas Mount D.D. is the President of the World Miracle Network, a Nonprofit 501 (c) (3) Corporation, and the Presiding Bishop of the World Miracle Network Association of Churches. He is a church planter who is the spiritual shepherd to a College of Bishops, 1,567 Pastors, and 152,000 church members in 5 nations.
With your help, the hungry are fed, the poor are clothed and given medical help and the widows and orphans are cared for. An everyday miracle such as water wells for a village gives people hope that God hasn't forgotten them.
We must reach out to every segment of society; poor as well as rich, uneducated as well as educated, and to every race and every nation so that we can truly fulfill the Great Commission.
The mission of the World Miracle Network is to help the hurting by providing food, water, clothing, shelter, and education to the people of the nations of the world, therefore demonstrating the love of God. This demonstration of love opens the door to winning many souls through our Crusades:
To demonstrate God's love by alleviating human need and suffering around the world.
In an effort to relieve human suffering we combat hunger, deprivation and affliction with the provision of food, shelter, medical care and basic necessities of life.
We also help the development of healthy communities by addressing education, clean water and community health.
WATER PROJECT
Every 8 seconds a person dies of a disease caused by the consumption of unclean water. Fresh water wells provide new life for thousands of the poor. Each well is provided as a witness of the love of God on each village.
PERSECUTION PROJECT
The Christian women of Pakistan are the country’s poorest and most hated citizens because of their faith. To compensate for their low income, mothers and daughters often work as maids to the wealthy homes, where they are regularly abused. Because of their faith, Christians are not permitted to apply for higher paying jobs and are often compelled to involve their children in child labor. Christians are the most frequent targets of violence, rape and torture. Christians make up 2% of the country’s population and are treated as the untouchable lower class citizens of Pakistan.
AFRICAN ORPHANAGE
Our orphanage in the Democratic Republic of the Congo cares for 160 orphans whose parents have died of AIDS. Your support will help provide: Construction repairs on three buildings deeded by the Congolese Government; medical care and medicine for children orphaned by AIDS; food, clothing, shoes, beds, educational supplies, computers, and Christian supplies.
CHURCH PLANTING
World Miracle Network plants Christian Churches globally as part of the Great Commission. Our goal is to win new souls for Jesus Christ and to then plant them in the local churches that we establish through evangelical efforts. The number of churches in the World Miracle Network is currently 750 in five Nations including Africa, India, Pakistan, the Philippines and the USA.
CRUSADES
This year's itinerary for Miracle Gospel Crusades includes, Uganda, Sudan, Ethiopia, the Congo, Rwanda, Kenya, Bangalore, India, Pakistan, Afghanistan, London, England, Northern Ireland, and Russia, and many more locations for Jesus Christ. Help us win the lost for our Lord as you send us to the harvest fields of the world.
INDIA MISSION
Our mission in Bangalore, India, ministers the love of Jesus Christ to the slum dwellers in the city. It ministers to the elderly, the poor, and the orphans as well as the lepers outside of the city. Help us reach more people with the love of God.
The above are the noble aims of this international organization. The Order of Saint Lazarus is proud to assist in such a venture and decrees that the Hospitaller and Humanitarian goals of the World Miracle Network are akin to the mission and vision statement of the United Grand Priories of the Hospitaller Order of Saint Lazarus of Jerusalem.
